Avon Cleaners has been a Dallas family business since 1968, and the Lovers Lane store at 4347 Lovers Ln sits in the middle of the neighborhoods it serves, with University Park, Highland Park and Preston Hollow all a few minutes away. It keeps the longest hours of our two stores, which is usually the reason people pick it.
The counter is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. You can drop a suit off on the way into the office and collect it on the way home without rearranging your day around us. Anything left before 8:00 am can be finished the same day.
Laundered shirts are hand-spotted, washed in protective netting and pressed on a dedicated collar and cuff press before a final Sankosha finish, and loose buttons are replaced at no charge. Suits, dresses and tailored pieces go through dry cleaning chosen for the cloth rather than the clock. If you would rather not sort a load at all, wash, dry and fold and professional laundry cover the everyday side of the wardrobe.
Comforters, duvets, pillows, mattress pads, bath mats, tablecloths, runners, napkins, drapes, curtains and patio cushions all come through Lovers Lane. Household items are the pieces customers most often assume have to be replaced rather than cleaned, and most of the time they are wrong about that.
Bridal work is handled as its own service. Each gown is inspected on its own terms before anything is cleaned, the method is matched to the beading, lace, silk or tulle in front of us, and long-term preservation with acid-free materials is offered as an option rather than assumed. Suede and leather pieces are sent to a specialty cleaner who handles nothing else.
Lovers Lane also serves commercial accounts across the area, on the same standard as everything else that crosses the counter. Our cleaning is eco-friendly, though that is not the reason to choose us; the reason is what the garment looks like when it comes back, week after week.
Pickup and delivery is complimentary across Dallas, Far North Dallas, Highland Park, University Park, Frisco, Plano, Trophy Club, Farmers Branch, Las Colinas, Addison, Southlake, Grapevine and Collin County.
